About Me

An experienced orthodontist who lives and works in Florida, Dr. Natalia Valderrama Dougherty earned her doctorate of dental surgery degree with honors from Saint Thomas Aquino's University in Bucaramanga, Colombia. She went on to obtain a university education specialist degree from Saint Thomas before immigrating to the United States in the late 1990s. Dr. Natalia Valderrama Dougherty continued her education in the United States, earning licensure as a registered nurse at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas, and a doctorate of dental surgery certificate from the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.

Since completing an orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics program at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. Natalia Valderrama Dougherty has provided dental and orthodontic care with multiple practices in Florida. A current resident of Melbourne, she serves as an orthodontist with two different Brevard County organizations: Christie Dental and Valderrama Orthodontics. Recently she also serves the Orlando area at Metro Smiles & Valderrama Orthodontics in Metrowest in Orlando.
